Who we are
Since 2005, we've been working hand-in-hand with our community to make recycling more accessible and impactful. It all started with a simple idea: find materials that weren't being recycled and give them a new life. When we discovered that mobile homes were often abandoned and left to waste, we teamed up with local demolition crews to start recycling these structures. Together, we salvaged valuable materials like wiring, plumbing, aluminum siding, steel frames, tires, and household appliances.
As our community efforts grew, so did our operations. By 2008, we were recycling items like old BBQs and lawn mowers. To better serve our neighbors, we expanded into a new shop at the Waldoch Conversion Center, with the support of Don Waldoch, his family, and the Columbus City Council. With their help, we were able to establish our facility and take on a larger role in the community. We also received approval for a VSQG Hazardous Waste Generator ID, ensuring we could safely manage items like oil and other hazardous materials.
In 2009, we became certified to remove freon from appliances, and with that, we expanded our recycling to include household appliances and electronics. Our commitment to the community grew as we organized local recycling events in Oak Groves, Columbus, Lino Lakes, and East Bethel. These events brought people together and made recycling easier for everyone.
Today, we continue to grow alongside our community, offering a wider range of services and products in our store.
We’re proud to serve you and are excited to keep building a greener, more sustainable future—together.
